So maybe you thought it was embarrassing to pick your email with your birth date in it, realizing that your birthday really does not need to be revealed to anyone, especially your girlfriend who thinks you’re 22 when you’re actually 32. So, you created another email. “foreignfighter121@hotmail.com” and it sounds like a pretty neutral email. Sounds cool too… until you didn’t get the dream job in which you sent the resume. Sigh, too unprofessional isn’t it? Well why not create another email that sounds more professional. “bob.jones121@hotmail.com” Sounds good? Yeah, good until everyone starts to switch to Gmail. Conform my friend, conform.
You are one of those people who create a billion emails. I know you are. Did you buy a domain? You probably have an email under your domain. Did you get into that University? You probably have another email. Join an organization and get another one. Your ISP gave you one and you just had to take it. Yeah yeah everyone has this problem, we all have many different email accounts.
My pet peeve however… is that people don’t seem to pick one email and stick with it. People check all of their emails, send from all of their emails, and inconsistently use different emails for different services such as Facebook, forum accounts, Instant Messaging, Paypal etc. At the end, you need to know every single email that they use, because you need it to send them money in Paypal, to find their account on Facebook, to add their Windows Live ID.
You can’t blame people for being crazy. Hey I’m crazy too.
There’s one pet peeve I have about people who pick their emails, or even their passwords. Don’t use your birth year. Seriously, I don’t know how many times I’ve seen people use their birth year in their email, usernames etc. Even worse, people have passwords that are just their birth year. Seriously.
You probably create your first email back in the 1998-2002 era, the dark Y2K ages. Yes you were probably a child who had nothing better to do than to hog the phone lines with dial up. So what should you use for your Yahoo/Hotmail username? What? You mean “firstname_lastname” is taken? What better way to make another email than to add your BIRTHYEAR after your email?
See I thought only Asians do this, but no, I have plenty of either whitewashed, or just white people, who actually use their BIRTH YEAR in their email. Why do you even use a NUMBER? NOBODY will remember your email if you force them to remember your birthday.
Now imagine this… most of the people I know are old people born in the late 80s or early 90s. But what happens if you were born in the year 2000? Seriously, bob_jones00 is already taken. So is bob.jones01, so stop trying.
So anyways, good friends who’s used a number or birth year in your emails… don’t be offended. At least you’re better than some Chinese friends with h5612346571354@chingchangchung.cn as their email.
If you are a Canadian, this matters to YOU.
The Canadian government is introducing a proposed law, Bill C-51, that will ultimately remove 60% of all natural health products in Canada. It imposes strict regulations on these safe, alternative solutions, and pushes all health treatments increasingly towards the giant pharmaceutical companies. This is not an issue of whether or not you use alternative health products. It is about your own personal freedoms. This bill does more than just regulation; it also gives the government health inspectors the right to:
Under the new law the State can seize without a reason, without a warrant, without limits to what can be seized, without a time limitation, and without reporting the seizure to a Court.
Oh. Did I mention that if you recommended an alternative health idea to a friend or family member (say, recommending that they used crushed garlic for their illness, and giving some to them), you could get jailed and fined 5 million dollars? Not a single person has ever died from using safe natural health products in Canada. This is not about the safety of Canadians, this is about lobbyists and massive pharmaceutical companies that want to make money. These companies exploit people’s health, and drive new drugs on the market.
This is a gross misuse of government power, and a push by drug company lobbyists, which already make billions a dollars a year exploiting Canadians. Call your MP today, and join the up coming rallies.

At 1:30 when I was happily playing Traveler IQ on the computer, I heard the following on the announcements:
“Hi this is your principal speaking”.
Like any other student would have done, I immediately clicked on “Paris, France”. God this game is easy. Time to go to the washroom now.
“This is a lockdown situation. This is not a rehearsal.”
Damn.

Apparently Nintendo is afraid that pokemon game players are going to not notice that there is a battle, so the Pokemon Battle theme always begins with that annoying cheesy music. Listen to the beginning and you’ll know what I mean. I believe the following words describe each and every beginning of a battle:
That’s just there in case you don’t notice the cheesy animations that appear when there’s a Pokemon battle.
Here’s the Gym Leader Music:

Not to be a jerk, but I watched this 3 times and still find it funny.
If you’ve talked to someone about a problem, and they argue back, consider yourself lucky. They consider your opinions, and that’s why they have something to say about them. If they don’t say anything, that will be the ultimate insult that you can ever accept.
Once a person ignores another person, the message that they are giving is the following:
You are not important. It just so happens that I do not have any concern for your problems. I am trying to shut you up, are you still talking? I have won this argument and I no longer want to talk to you about it because you are not worthy and your opinions do not matter. I want you to have these issues, hence I do not react to them. Don’t you know? I’m right and you are ultimately wrong. What a loner!
How do you not ignore someone? Find out how to keep your friends.
